Additional Restrictions Grant (Round 5) Application period now closed

About this funding

On 21 December 2021, the Government announced that a further £102 million would be made available for Local Authorities, through a top-up to the Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) in order to allow us to further support businesses across Central Bedfordshire. The Government published revised guidance on eligibility for the ARG on 12 January 2022, to set out that this funding is aimed at supporting those businesses severely impacted by the rise of the Omicron variant.

Only businesses that were open and actively trading on 30 December 2021 are eligible for the Central Bedfordshire Council ARG Scheme (Round 5).

The Additional Restrictions Grant funding will be prioritised for non-rated, Central Bedfordshire-based businesses in the Hospitality, Leisure and Accommodation sectors which have been severely impacted by the rise of the Omicron variant.

View our Additional Restrictions Grant Fund (Round 5) guidance for full details of the ARG (Round 5) scheme, including eligibility, grant amounts and how we will prioritise funding.
